
There is extensive literature nowadays on learning environments and the reconfiguration of space to foster positive and productive learning, some of which we touch on in Chapter 7. In these pages we are focussing first of all on smaller scale, portable and permanent spaces which form part of the bigger debate around the shape and scale of learning domains of the future. Pods are our inflatable reflective bases, while Labyrinths,in the words of Dr Jan Sellers in her two videos, have the capacity to be a combination of art installation, contemplative area and novel location for tailored, disciplinary learning.
